Almost three days in New York already. Yesterday evening we had a little pre meet of Gumball 3000 participants. Last days were relatively quiet regarding to supercars and only some Gumballers already made it to New York City. In comparison with earlier days today was a crazy day and most of the participants and their cars arrived today.
In the morning the first cars were stopping at the front of the hotel. One of the teams that arrived early was Team 86 with their fast Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 and also Team Trust with their Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport arrived on transport at the hotel. The last couple of days the cars got wrapped somewhere outside of the city and today the delivery took place. After that a lot of other participants followed. Jon Olson, Bun B and the Dudesons are only a few of the competitors that arrived. Unfortunately we did not see the crazy Audi R8 from Jon Olsen, but that will definitely happen one of the following days. It got clear this day that the Gumball is getting alive in New York City. Tomorrow, the cars will get stickered and after that they will be driven to Times Square where they will go on a display until the rally wil start. After the start a week full of adrenalin and crazy things will wait for us. Of course you can stay up to date by following us on Facebook, Twitter and our special Gumball page. Keep an eye on the website tomorrow because maybe we will already start with our live stream!

Finally! Today we finally could pick up the car again and this is why we had to get up early. Time to drive to Manhattan Motors in our Cadillac Escalade to pick up the Ferrari 599 GTO. We had to hurry because the cars also had to be stickered today.
We were stressed when we heard the news on Monday morning. A serious accident happened and this caused a major traffic jam, just when we have to go the Schiphol. Luckily it wasn’t that bad and we were on time for our flight to New York.
The second day in New York is all about getting used to the time difference. Some members of our team were out of bed at 5 am already, just because their biological clock isn’t used to the time difference in New York. So we all stood up early, went into the city and talked through the latest...
