Gumball 3000 is about raping your own body. The alarm went of on 5.30 am after we went to sleep at 1 am. You won't hear us complain about this because the experience is just awesome! Yesterday it was time to go to the Indy 500 race at the race park. One of the biggest sport events in America!
At 6.30 am we had to be in our cars already to go to the race park. Some of you might noticed that we sent this little ride out on the live stream that was back again. We hope we can keep streaming the upcoming days. We cannot give any guarantee about that because we are totally dependent on the coverage of the mobile network. After a police escort we arrived at the Indy 500. The cars are did stand there whole day in the burning sun. Temperature's up to 40 degrees were reached. The cars got parked and we got a superb place for watching the race, but not before we interviewed Arie Luyendijk. Arie Luyendijk is a real legend in America and is a two-time winner of the Indy 500. He just can't walk at the paddock unnoticed. The winner of yesterday was Dario Franchitti, with that victory he is one of the seven people that won the Indy 500 three times! 2012-05-28 at 12:29Wat zonde dat jullie zo weinig weten te doen met alle mogelijkheden die jullie nu hebben. Hebben jullie überhaupt wel nagedacht over de vragen die gesteld werden in het interview? En waarom bijna alleen maar videomateriaal van stilstaande auto's? Dat is op de foto's ook wel te zien. Nu jullie meerijden met de Gumball hoop ik ook op wat videomateriaal vanuit de auto en ander beeldmateriaal wat niet iedere willekeurige spotter zou kunnen maken.
