Today was the day that the Gumball 3000 2012 finally started. Times Square was loaded with people waiting for the mighty V12, V10 and V8 engines to be started. Nobody could have foreseen such a crazy start.
This morning we started our live streaming of the Gumball Rally with all the teams at the start. After that you could see a part of the start and tomorrow we will make a nice report for the frontpage about the first day of the Gumball. It was not possible to show you the start of every single car because we also had to get in the cars and leave Times Square. As soon as we left New York City we entered an area where internet connectivity was insufficient to broadcast the livestream: technology only enables us to use the livestream in some areas of the United States. Tomorrow you will be able to read a full report about this first day on the frontpage. So stay tuned!
