IMSA also boosts the power of the car. They boost the V8 from 585 to 720 hp. The torque is boosted from 900 to 1080 Nm. The torque is limited so it won't damage the drivetrain of the car. This powerboost is gained due to adjustments of the ECU and that's quite a performance with only adjusting the software of the car.
