The New York International Auto Show will open its doors soon and we already know about some scoops that will be on display and Mercedes-AMG just added another model to the list. They will release the Mercedes-AMG Sprinter 63 S. The sprinter will be equipped with a V8 AMG engine, producing 503 hp.
Unfortunately they haven't yet released exact specifications but we do know that the Sprinter 63 S is designed to transport more than just goods. Up to six people can be luxuriously transported from A to B. According to rumours the Sprinter 63 S goes from 0-62 mph in just over five seconds. The top speed will be electronically limited to at least 155 mph. It seems that Mercedes-AMG has used their knowledge and innovations from for instance the G-wagon to improve the aerodynamics of the Sprinter. The nice thing about this car is that it will be released on April first, a day where many car companies like to implement a little humour in their business.
