The car on which a lot of Porsche fanatics were waiting since the Porsche 964 Targa, the 991 Targa, is shining on the New York Motor Show like never before. The positive reactions on the Targa are very welcome after all the problems with the 991 GT3. The Targa has again got its beautiful roof line back and that’s why everybody is so positive about this car.
The roof has a very ingenious design. The glass roof is no more and made place for a demountable roof. Back in the days, this had to be done by hand but now, the roof is placed behind the seats automatically. Engine-wise you have two options. The 4 and the 4S are both available and produce 350 and 400 hp. Next to that, you can choose for a manual gearbox or the flawless PDK gearbox. The PDK is cheaper in a lot of countries because of its lower emission.
