For about two weeks it was quiet on the Nürburgring but meanwhile a new testing week has started and several car manufacturers are already spotted. After a busy weekend with over 12.000 bikes the track is back in use for testing new models and prototypes. Mercedes-AMG is also present and they brought out their new C 63 Coupé.
We don't expect that they won't need to do that much work on the engine. It's about the body and the configuration of the suspension. The weight ratio is changed compared to the sedan version and this will need some adjustments. The C 63 will be powered by the new 4.0 V8 biturbo engine producing 469 hp and 648 Nm of torque. Of course Mercedes-AMG will also come up with a C 63 S Coupé version. This version will produce the usual 507 hp.
