458MRP recently spotted this beautiful Italian-registered black Porsche Carrera GT milling around London, doing a few powerslides here and there.
The Carrera GT is a very valuable car, with prices currently sitting between £400,000 and £600,000, so it’s not often you get to see one being driven like this. Making it all the more unusual is the fact that it’s being done in the busy streets of central London around Knightsbridge and Mayfair, which might not be the best idea, but we’re impressed nonetheless.
The Carrera GT is considered the predecessor to the 918 Spyder. It features a mid-mounted 5.7 litre V10 engine which produces 612hp and 590nm of torque, propelling the car from 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds, and on to a top speed of 205mph. Only around 1200 were made, making this car incredibly rare.
