Koenigsegg surprises us with the Gemera

Koenigsegg keeps surprising us with their new creations. This year they even planned to take two new models to Geneva, but the unveiling had to take place online. Besides the road legal version of the Jesko we also see the Gemera, a four seater with a combined output of 1900 hp.

It only takes 1.9 second to reach 62 mph. Quite an extreme figure with only four people on board. This is made possible by combining a three cilinder engine with electric power. The engine delivers the power to the front wheels, where it is supported by a 200 hp strong electro engine. However, the real power is delivered at the back, where an electric engine for each wheel is positioned which delivers 500 hp on each side. Combining all engines, the total output is thus 1900 hp and 3500 Nm of torque.

The interior of the car is also very special. Four people with two meters of length can easily be seated on board without having to worry about leg room or space issues at all. Besides this, Koenigsegg managed to have enough space for four trolleys on board so people can take their belongings for a nice holiday. To ensure the passengers are having a nice time, a titanium exhaust from Akrapovic is ensuring a thrilling sound from the three cilinder engine. Because the cilinders are quite large in size, the sound should be deep and sporty.
