Yesterday a mayor incident took place in Hefei, China. A Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 was able to hit a city bus on high speed. The photos of the crash immediately show how strong the Aventador's carbon fiber monocoque is. The driver came out without a scratch, the pictures even show him doing a telephone call. Some of the bus' passengers had to go to hospital a medical check. The Lamborghini itself looks worse. We don't think repair will be done to the car.
The Lamborghini lost its entire suspension and right front wheel. Also the car caught some body damage. The monocoque seems to be broken but the compartment where the passenger's feet were seems to be intact. This shows the sheer strength of it, a fact Lamborghini announced full of commendation during the Aventador's introduction.

Niet alleen zijn Lamborghini van 900.000 euro is hij kwijt, ook de schade aan de bus zal hij moeten vergoeden.
