Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster unveiled at Pebble Beach

Pebble Beach often shows a lot of special cars, that's something everybody will know. Lamborghini confirms this with their Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster which was introduced last weekend. It's quite a long name but it that doesn't make the car look less brutal. Especially the version on the press photos looks just lovely!

As the name already tells us, the Italian gains 750 hp from its 6.5 liter V12. So far nothing new compared with the Coupé. This Lamborghini weighs an extra 50 kilograms due to the roof construction and this makes the car sprint from zero to 100 kph in 2.9 seconds. That's 0.1 seconds slower than the Coupé versoin. Surprisinly the car does have the same top speed as the Coupé, 349 kph.

The hard-top on the supercar is made out of carbon fiber. The roof comes with a quick locking system that weighs only six kilograms. The hard-top is developed to be as aerodynamic as possible. When the top is removed you can place a glass plate behind the seats to reduce the wind inside the car.

All orders of the SuperVeloce are already made and we guess that the Roadster will be sold out just as fast because with a limit of only 500 copies this car will become a real collector's item.
