Lamborghini is working on a hypercar for Geneva 2016

It looks like a very busy time in the factories in Sant'Agata de Bolognese. It seems like Lamborghini wants to bring something new to next year's Geneva Motor Show.

Lamborghini already knows that it will be a very powerful car, this model will be a real hypercar which will compete with the Porsche 918 Spyder, LaFerrari and McLaren P1. The development of the car is still in an early stage and we don't know if the car will get hybrid technology, just like the other three hypercars. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann was recently quite negative about the addition of electric engines and batteries when he cancelled the Asterion project. But he wouldn't be the first CEO of a car manufacturer who has to take back his words.

The information we now have is leaked at a presentation of Lamborghini to a select group of potential customers at the annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Recently, this event took place in California. We are told that a hologram of this new model was shown at the presentation. An additional advantage of this hologram is the fact that Lamborghini didn't need to bring a concept car or prototype to the show. When they had to do this we are pretty sure that somebody would have been able to take a photo of this model. For now the looks of the car are still a secret. We do know that the car will be limited to only 20 copies and will get a price of 1.2 million US dollar.

Because we don't have any photos of the new bull yet, we added some photos of the most recent special models by Lamborghini, the one-off Egoista and Asterion and the very rare Sesto Elemento and Veneno.
