During the North American International Auto Show 2014, on 13 January in Detroit, Porsche will introduce their latest addition to their 991 program, the 991 Targa. Porsche refers to the big history of the company when a similar model was sold.
The 991 Targa will be available with the same engines as the other models. A 350 hp and 400 hp strong six-cylinder engine. Both engines have a great performance. Later on, the Carrera 4 models will be added to the Targa program. We don't know whether Porsche will come up with a 991 Turbo version of the Targa, but this seems unrealistic. The roof construction of the Targa is completely automatic. THe 997 was also available as Targa but didn't have this characteristic B-style. It seems to be a good move by Porsche, we definitely like this car!
