The McLaren P1 might be sold out but thanks to the MSO program McLaren keeps delivering exclusive copies to their customers. In Dubai, they introduced the 650S Spider Al Sahara 79 during the Dubai International Motor Show. A one-off for the Arab market.
The version is inspired by the Arab culture. McLaren has chosen a soft pearl white colour with golden details. This colour refers to the Al Sahara, the beautiful desert. In this paint we find 24 carat golden details to take the exclusivity of this paint to a higher level. Of course Arabs love gold so it won't be a problem to sell this car. Contrasting details in the exterior are the glossy black parts and the carbon fiber components. The 650S Spider looks just beautiful and fits perfectly in the city of Dubai. In the interior we find golden details and black and white leather. The name 79 refers to the atomic number of gold. Under the hood, the McLaren 650S Spider is still standard.
