Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG models can often be found in Spain just before a new AMG model will be unveiled. With the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S this isn't any different. The facelift and new name gives the car different look than the ML 63 AMG but whether it's an improvement is up to you to decide.
Remarkably the front looks sporty but not aggressive. Normally the front of a Mercedes-AMG model looks quite aggressive with the many black parts and the big grill. The big grill is there but the front just doesn't look that brutal. The big white vaulting is probably the cause of the subtle look. At the back we don't see that much changes compared with the previous model. Four big exhausts still produce the characteristic sound. In Sitges, the Mercedes Executive Board is located. They will eventually approve the car for production. Probably they're now testing if the car is ready for production.
