The P1 is limited to a total of 375 copies. The car was quickly sold out and the last copies will be delivered to their rightful owners in 2015. Customers ordered their P1s in a lot of different compositions. A rich customer from Greenwich choose the colour Stirling Grey while two other Americans choose black and green. At the spots we can see how the colour effects the look of a car. Black makes the McLaren P1 look aggressive while it looks very happy in orange. The original McLaren colour, Papaya Orange can also be found on Autogespot. The McLaren P1 looks elegant in Azure Blue while this copy was spotted in the state of California. Carbon fiber and hybrid technology are the keywords for this special P1. The car is extremely lightweight and thanks to the hybrid technology also very environmentally friendly. The V8 produces 727 hp while the hybrid engine adds another 176 hp. These 176 are always available and the torque of the electric engines is available from zero rpm. That's why the P1 sprints to 100 kph in only three seconds. The 200 kph can be reached in less than seven seconds while you will reach 300 kph in only seventeen seconds. The car is limited at 350 kph.
