NAIAS 2015: we need time to get used to the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 AMG

The new GLE 63 Coupé combines the sportiness of a Coupé with the advantages of an SUV. The car stands out due to its strange looks and loud sound of the 5.5 liter V8 biturbo engine. The high sitting position of the SUV is combined with the typical AMG dynamics and immediate response to your commands. The driver can choose five different modes thanks to the DYNAMIC SELECT: Slippery, Individual, Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus.

The AMG 5.5 liter V8 biturbo engine is built according to the ‘one man, one engine’ principle. The engine produces 557 hp and a maximum torque of 700 Nm. The S version is even more powerful thanks to a higher turbo pressure and produces 585 hp and 760 Nm of torque. The GLE 63 Coupé sprints to 100 kph in 4.3 seconds while the S version needs 4.2 seconds.

The GLE 63 S Coupé has a A-Wing in glossy black. Together with the chrome trim and black details it results in an even more sporty look. Another characterizing detail of the S version are the red calipers.
