New pictures of the Porsche 918 Spyder
The new supercar project by Porsche which has to beat the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 and the new Ferrari Enzo starts to become visible. Of course we already slightly know how the Porsche 918 Spyder will look like, but Porsche will probably make some extra modifications. Today we can provide you with a small update on the specifications and show you some new pictures.
The supercar has reached the next phase and the first prototypes are driving around already. Where? Presumably on and around the Nürburgring but within a short period of time also in Death Valley. The 918 Spyder is still scheduled to be produced around September 2013 and the first deliveries will take place before the end of 2013. So far, Porsche is still on schedule. The plug-in hybris delivers 770 bhp and has a combined consumption of 3 liters per 100 kilometers! We are eager to know to what extent these numbers will be accomplished. The topspeed of the 918 is more than 325 km/h. The camouflage on these pictures remind us of the Porsche 917, but then of course with a new look. On both the front and back axis we can find electric engines that are both sufficient to deliver 226 bhp. Of course it is questionable to what extent Porsche is able to exceed the success of the Porsche Carrera GT. What we think of it? No, only the sound of the Carrera GT gives us goosebumps already!
