James Glickenhaus is a name that's closely connected to all sorts of eccentric creations in the automotive world. With his brand Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus he created the P4/5, based on the Ferrari Enzo, and the P4/5 Competizione, based on the 430 Scuderia. The brand is now in a new phase. They want to build their own models on an own platform!
The result of this last phase is the SCG 003. This car will be available in two versions. The street version (003S - Stradale) and track version (003C - the car that has been spotted). We don't know the specifications of the street version but the track version is powered by a 3.5 liter twinturbo V6 by Honda. This engine produces 530 hp at 6800 rpm and has 700 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. The SCG 003C weighs only 1350 kilograms and with all the aerodynamic features this must be a very promising car on the track.
Such a high-tech track car will cost a lot of money. The street version already costs 2.5 million dollar but the track version is even more expensive with a price tag of 3.6 million dollar.
