New York 2014: Porsche 918 Spyder

It seems that Porsche is still looking customers for their 918 Spyder. In addition to the LaFerrari and McLaren P1 which are already sold out. A great reason for Porsche to bring the car to New York.

Those who buy the 918 Spyder will know one thing for sure. The Porsche 918 Spyder is the first production car which managed to set a record lap time under seven minutes on the Nürburgring. A lap time of 6 minutes and 57 seconds is possible for those who can drive just as good as Walther Rörhl.

The Porsche 918 Spyder produces up to 895 hp. This makes it just a bit less powerful than the competitors from Italy and England. The sprint to 100 kph takes only 2.8 seconds and the top speed isn’t announced yet. Thanks to the combination of an electric engine with a big V8, it isn’t only very powerful, but also very economic. It must be able to get a fuel consumption of only 3.0 to 3.3 liters per 100 kilometers.
