New: Porsche 718 Boxster

'Hairdresser's car', 'Cockster', 'poor-man's 911. It are all stereotypes for the Porsche Boxster. It's hard for me to take these people seriously. The Boxster - and Cayman - are amazing driver's cars of which experts say that the balance is better and more pure than the 911. I still need to drive these casr myself but I've already got some great news for you. The facelifted Boxster, from now on named Porsche 718 Boxster, is released last week!

The 718 Boxster is more evolutions than revolution compared with the previous model. This car has the updates we usually see with a facelift: adjusted headlights, taillight units, rear bumper and front bumper. You'll probably need some extra time to get used to the new looks. The interior of the car is up-to-date thanks to the new PCM module. More important are the adjustments under the hood. We say goodbye to the lovely sounding six-cylinder boxer engine and in return we get a four-cylinder boxer engine with a turbo. As always Porsche comes up with a normal version and a S version. The normal version produces 300 hp while the S produces 350 hp. Thanks to the new turbo the torque is also increased to 380 Nm for the normal version and 420 Nm for the S version.
