Event: more pictures of Rosso Corsa Day!

Almost every country has its own Ferrari club. This often means that members meet a few times a year to spend some time together. In France, Rosso Corsa Day is one of those events. Like every year, the event starts in Paris, at the Place de la Concorde and with a few stops they head to a castle, Vaux le Vicompte, this year. A lot of cars turned up with special Ferrari's like the Enzo Ferrari, F40, F50, GTO and 275 GTB. Gran Turismo Events Nürburgring 2013: the movies!

Not only a lot of spotters had their photo cameras with them, during this great event on the Nürburgring. A lot of spotters also had their video cameras with them. Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 2013 looks great in grey

The renewed Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 didn’t got much positive reactions at first. The diagonal lines didn’t do a good thing to the model. Of course, they stand out even more in an outstanding colour, but at this model, in grey, they don’t stand out as much as they did at first. Spotted: Bentley Continental GT in a unique colour

Imagine this: you want a certain colour for your car, which is not offered as a standard. You’re lucky at some car manufacturers, because they offer a special program for this kind of customers. Other brands just refuse the order of the colour you wanted so bad. Gran Turismo Events 2013 on the Nürburgring!

Last week, a great party took place at the Green Hell. The world-famous track was taken over by the gentlemen from Gran Turismo Events. A supercar circus with drivers who didn’t hesitate to floor the pedal and who kept driving faster laps. Despite the forecasted rain, it was great weather during this event. Event: Long Beach Grand Prix

For 39 years, the streets of Long Beach shut down for one weekend in April. One of the most famous street circuits in the world, the Long Beach Grand Prix draws nearly 200,000 fans over the three-day race weekend. The sun was shining over the port city all weekend long. Fans showed up in droves to experience all the festivities. The weekend features seven different types of racing including the Izod Indycar Series, American Le Mans, Drifting under the lights and stadium super trucks. Race fans are treated to one of the biggest collection of food trucks in the city, two live concerts, a lifestyle expo, and some of the fastest cars in the world. Read more

Horror story! Blowout at 300 kph!

Cruising on the highway, you decide to flat out. You drive way above 300 kph and you start to hear a strange sound followed by a bang. You lose control over the car and the wall next to the highway starts to come very close. A blowout at 300 kph isn't much luck but followed by a crash into a wall is completely unlucky. Luckily, the passengers had a few guardian angels because they weren't injured. This story could have had a completely different end. Read more

Event: Rosso Corsa Day in Paris

On Sunday 21 April, it was time for the ninth Rosso Corsa Day, organized by the Scuderia Ferrari Club Paris. The start was at Place de la Concorde, at the beginning of the Champs-Élysées, in the center of Paris. In the early morning, the square was filled with more than hundred Ferrari’s, varying from a classic 250 GTE from the sixties to the newer 458 Italia and 458 Spider. Those who thought that you could drive around anonymously in your Enzo or F50 were wrong! The drive started on Place de la Concorde and drove over the Champs-Élysées heading towards Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte. When all the cars left, Paris looked like just an ordinary Sunday morning again. Read more

A lot of colours for the Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario

Last week, the 720 hp strong Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario was revealed. A small herald of what we can expect of the SuperVeloce version of the Aventador? Without any problems Lamborghini managed to get 20 extra horsepower and with some aerodynamic adjustments, they made the car 50 percent more efficient. They don’t want to tell us how they did this so we just have to believe them. Of course, a lot of photoshoppers started working on this car after it was revealed.
