Now official: Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake

Now official: Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake The big competitor of the Audi RS6 Avant is now official! Mercedes-Benz published the official press release yesterday and this made the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake official. It wasn’t a surprise anymore because Mercedes-Benz was sloppy with their specification sheets and pictures so we already knew the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake was coming.

The 204 kilograms weighing 5.5 liters V8 engine produces 525 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. This makes the CLS sprint to 100 km/h in only 4.4 seconds. Instead of the Performance Pack it is now called the Edition 1-model. When the buyer chooses for this package, the car gets 557 bhp and 800 Nm of torque and this makes the car able to sprint to 100 km/h in only 4.3 seconds. The top speed of both versions is 250 km/h. Of course there are different modes for the gearbox of the Shooting Brake like comfort, sport, sport plus and manual. The comfort mode lets the car consume as less fuel as possible thanks to a start stop system. You can order the Shooting Brake from October and Mercedes-Benz will soon present the price of this car.
