Jeep’s new super-SUV still has the same name, Grand Cherokee SRT8. A lovely, typical American we would like to drive for a couple of days, maybe even longer. The car will make many owners smile, that is for sure. For the Chinese market, Jeep came up with a unique version to make the special model even more special.
The Grand Cherokee SRT8 Hyan Black Edition displays quite some resemblance with the American special version, the Vaper Edition. Chinese spotters can recognize this Hyan by a completely black interior. Also parts which are normally finished in chrome are now in black. The result looks simple, but very brutal and badass. Finally, the car is rolling on twenty inch wheels, finished with aluminium. Under the bonnet, everything also is pretty good. The Black Edition has a 6.4 liter V8 Hemi-engine on board, which provides the car of 461 bhp and 624 Nm. This is good enough for a topspeed of over 250 kph and a sprinttime to 100 km/u of just 4.9 seconds. The price of this special model starts with 144.000 euros, 1.19 Chinese yuan. Very expensive, when you think the cars is yours for just $60.920,- in the USA.
