If you want to make sure you've got the fastest estate car of the autobahn, you could consider a visit to the Essen Motor Show this weekend. The crazy Germans working for Brabus are here with a car which is possibly the fastest estate car on sale. The Mercedes-Benz E 63 S AMG Estate is fast because of its four wheel drive, surely if you add a 850 bhp V8 by Brabus to that!
The only drawback for this car is the fact that it's limited to 300 kph to protect tires. Time to have some conversations with a good tire manufacterer, Brabus! That 300 kph will be hitted the quickest but after that the G-Powers, ABTs, and MTMs will surely outrun you. Despite that, the acceleration is insane with only 3.1 seconds needed to hit 100 kph. Ofcourse the saloon version ofthe E 63 S AMG is available too, the car will easily hit 350 kph because of its fewer load on the rear axle. Will this car be able to hit 850 bhp? The E 63 S AMG doesn't only have 850 bhp, but also 1450 Newtonmeters of torque. These are astronomical numbers, but Brabus knows how to put this on the road? Do you think 850 bhp is over the top. It's also to order lighter versions, with 620, 650 or 730 bhp.
Om al dit geweld in goede banen te begeleiden heeft Brabus de auto in de windtunnel gezet om nieuwe aerodynamische aanpassingen te ontwikkelen. De frontspoilerlip is aangepast en reduceert negatieve lift op de vooras op hogere snelheden. Aan de achterkant zien we een nieuwe carbon fiber diffuser. Over prijzen wordt niet gesproken.
