Revolutionary design: Ferrari F70, Ferrari's new supercar
The last couple of months, we heard a lot of rumors about the successor of the Ferrari Enzo. The car also gets spotted often in Maranello. Ferrari is very busy testing their new hypercar which gets introduced at the end of this year. After the introduction of the beautiful F12 Berlinetta, our expectations are very high. Does the F70 get as beautiful as the recent line of Ferrari’s? We hope our colleagues from CarandDriver are right!
First Ferrari tested the F70 only with mules near Maranello but now they are also testing with testcars with less camouflage. Ferrari just plays a game with car journalists to catch attention. All rumors are great promotion for the magic called Ferrari. CarandDriver says it is already quite clear what the car will look like. Remarkable is the fact the car isn’t designed by Pininfarina but by Ferrari’s own designer, Flavio Manzoni. Who wants to know how the car looks must think of the F70 Millechili Concept and James Glickenhaus’ Ferrari P4/5. Ferrari says the new design is going to be very exotic. Just like many other supercars these days, the bodywork and chassis are made from carbon fiber. The contruction of the bodywork is based on the ‘three-bows-construction’. We see this at the rendering EVO.co.uk made, here below. The front is the smallest in diameter and the middle is the widest. This means a more spacious interior. The back is a bit wider than the front. The interior also comes with an enormous windscreen which almost gives you almost a 360 degrees view. Also the aerodynamics of the F70 seems to be revolutionary. The car has got active aerodynamics, as seen on the Ferrari 458 Italia. The most important part is the backside with a big solid rear spoiler. As said before, the three-bows-construction has got positive influence on the car. How this all really works will become clear in the following months. By using carbon fiber, the weight of this car will be extremely low. The Enzo Ferrari weighs 1500 kilograms, the expectations are that the F70 will weigh only 1200 kilograms.

Sinds dat AG Engelstalig probeert te zijn kom ik hier nog zelden. Dit is het eerste artikel dat ik in lange tijd lees. Ofwel schrijf je in het Nederlands of je leert Engels voor je zo'n crap post. Aan de weinige reacties te zien ben ik niet de enige.
