Rolls-Royce recently announced that they would start testing their new Phantom which is planned for 2018. The current Phantom is being used since 2003 and meanwhile a big update is planned. The car is now spotted during the first tests and the car looks great at first sight.
It's one of the most luxurious cars in the world and in all the years that this car is driving around not much has been changed. The 2018 Phantom has an evolutionary design with a big grill which is accompanied with the rectangular headlights. The design of the current Phantom can be found in the doors and big C styles.
Of course Rolls-Royce is also working on weight reduction. The Phantom will loose some weight but will still be as comfortable as you're used to. This is realized by using a completely new aluminum space-frame. Next to that, Rolls-Royce will use a lot of technology from the new BMW 7 Series to make it as comfortable as possible. The power of the Rolls-Royce will be gained from the well-known V12.
