South-America is a continent with a lot of different countries of which we would love to see more on Autogespot. Argentina, Chile and of course Colombia. In Colombia, this new SRT Viper GTS was spotted and that was a big surprise!
We don’t know whether the local drug lord owns a SRT Viper GTS or not but it’s still special to see this car in Colombia. Autogespot is all about sharing the best spots from special places. A SRT Viper GTS from Colombia definitely deserves this title!
The SRT Viper is quite a rarity at this moment. Last year, only 591 copies were sold and that’s way less than they expected and that’s why the production is shut down until May. But realistically, it will be hard to sell this SRT Viper. There are so many sports cars available at this moment that every company has to do a lot to sell a copy. Especially SRT because the Viper isn’t a typical modern sports car.
Under the hood we find the old-fashioned big V10. The capacity is up to 8.4 liters and this means that the core of the Viper is still intact. Thanks to this enormous engine capacity the car produces a lot of power. 650 hp to be exact. The power is transferred to the road thanks to a manual gearbox which makes it a car for a tough guy. So maybe it is the drug lord from Colombia in the end?
