Thanks to its bright colours, the first series of the Porsche 997 GT3 RS has always been an eyecatcher. Not a single copy drove around the streets anonymously; even if the owner had picked a black colour scheme, it often was one with orange striping. This particular Porsche however, shows the opposite: itâs a GT3 RS with orange painting and black striping. This colour combination also appears in the rims, which makes it a good-looking unity.
The Porsche 997 GT3 RS MkI looks less high-tech than its later brothers from the MkII-series. Nevertheless, both types of Porsche are well-matched. Whereas the MkI contains âonlyâ 415 BHP versus 450 BHP of the MkII, the acceleration time differs just two tenths of a second â not something you would really feel when driving on public roads. In addition, this Porsche looks way more sporty than the sophisticated MkII. That having said, both the MkI and the MkII are extremely desirable cars, especially in the here described colour schemes. After all: who wouldnât want to drive a lap around the Nordschleife with ones of these cars?
