Spotted: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG under a layer of snow

Canada is a country with quite severe winters. Still that doesn't withhold some owners to take out their supercar every now and then. That's probably what the owner of the following white Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG must have thought.

The SLS AMG is the second production supercar with a Mercedes badge and it's the successor of the SLR McLaren. Well, actually not completely, because the SLR was positioned a segment higher than the SLS and was developed in cooperation with McLaren. The SLS is completely developed by AMG. The SLS was praised because of its 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 with code name M159. This engine produces 571 hp, 650 Nm of torque and – last but not least- a lovely sound. Especially that last part is something we will miss with the new turbo engines. It will sound less spectacular as the naturally aspirated engines.

The SLS isn't really known for its all-weather qualities. AMGs are known for their love for oversteer and it won't help you that you've got 650 Nm of torque under your right foot with these slippery conditions. That's why it's amazing to see the owner drive this copy even in winter. The configuration of this car is great, the white colour looks great and the carbon fiber mirrors and panels at the air intakes on the side complete the car. This is a great spot by spotter Olivier Lessard!
