Lexus shows us with the LF A and the IS F that they’re very capable of building a sports sedan and even a supercar. Their next achievement comes in 2015 in the shape of the GS F which they are testing at this moment. Will this sports sedan make the Japanese compete the current German rulers in this segment?
The GS F is the next performance sedan from Lexus after the IS F. Lexus listened to the feedback they got in the past years. Next to the many testing laps on the Nürburgring, the car is also being tested in normal traffic and that’s why spotting group P. spotted the c ar in Frankfurt. We expect that Lexus will use the same five liters V8 as we find in the IS F. Only will it be more powerful to compete with the BMW M5, Audi RS7 and Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG which all have more than 500 hp. We count on about 550 hp. Other extras are a sport suspension and a more sporty look with some spoilers and more brutal wheels. A herald is the F Sports Line package which is already available on the GS. The GS F is planned for 2015.
