While the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 was introduced at the NAIAS in Detroit, the engineers of Mercedes were testing the G 63 AMG 4x4 in Sweden. The car was already spotted before and now it's again spotted during the car's cold tests.
As we see on the photos the G 63 AMG 4x4 is equipped with wider parts just like we know from the G 63 AMG 6x6. Mercedes is seriously working on a smaller version of the 6x6. We see wider fenders, other sideskirts and a new rear bumper. The power is gained from a V8 twinturbo which produces 544 hp and up to 760 Nm of torque. We expect to see the 4x4 at a motor show later this year, we expect that it will be the IAA in Frankfurt.
