The rendered production version of Maserati Alfieri looks pretty good

The Maserati Alfieri Concept was unveiled during the Geneva Motor Show in 2014. We were quite impressed by the car. The nose reminds us of the GranTurismo with the modern family front of Maserati. The back of the car has a design that reminds us of Zagato. The Italians say that they've used the design elements of the Maserati A6G/54. We don't know how they came up with this excuse.

Well, this rendering is made on the basis of statements of the direction of Maserati. They say that the Alfieri will look a lot like the concept version. This means that the person who made the rendering didn't had such a hard job. The interior of the concept car looks very futuristic and this will be different with the production model. According to Maserati's plans, the production of the Alfieri will start in 2016 or 2017.

Maserati wants to expand and that means that they need to come up with more models and versions. That's probably why they build so many diesel models. The Alfieri will probably be available with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive producing 410, 450 or 520 hp from a twin turbo V6. The car will probably also be available as a cabriolet version.

We're starting to get curious. Unfortunately we can now only share this rendering.
