The small one from Audi: the limited A1 Quattro
What is the best car to buy with 50.000 Euros? A beautiful second-hand Ferrari F355 GTS, a beautiful Jaguar XKR 2007 or what to think of a Porsche 911! It are all dream cars. There is plenty of choice on the occasion market. But not everyone will choose for a second-hand car because 333 future owners choose to pay that much money for a Audi A1, though it is a very special Audi A1.
Spotter slabate spotted the first Audi A1 Quattro in Brussels. It is a car owned by Audi itself so we still have to wait for the first private copies. Audi’s smallest car is with its 333 copies just as exclusive as the Audi R8 GT! All copies are sold because it isn’t very hard to find buyers for such an exclusive Audi. The success story of this car starts on the VAG event in Wörthersee in 2011. Audi shows the A1 Club Sport Quattro Concept at this event. A lightweight hardcore version of the A1 with 500 bhp. This little monster was already spotted in Monaco and we now see the production version. Unfortunately we don’t see the enormous diffuser and air intakes behind the front wheels on this production version. Though it still is a very impressive car to look at. The two liters turbo engine has 256 bhp will bring you to 100 km/h in only 5.6 seconds. The maximum speed of the car is 245 km/h.
