The waiting has started: Pagani Huayra Roadster

It was in March 2011 when Horacio Pagani showed his new supercar on the same place where the new Ferrari and new Lamborghini were revealed, He showed us the Huayra. At that moment they already announced a open-top version of the car would come, this version would be introduced in 2013 or 2014. Student Aldo Maria Sica was so curious about it he already made his own version.

Convertible Italian supercars are often better than closed versions. The soundtrack which can be heared better is the main reason. An open window just isn’t enough. The unique thing of the car is the carbon fiber roof made out of three pieces. If this will make it to the production-stage is unknown. What will stay the same? Of course the 7.3 liter V12 Biturbo, made by AMG, with 700 bhp and 1000 Nm of torque. Geneva is the usual place where new Pagani’s are shown, so we expect we won’t see the Huayra Roadster before the spring of 2014.
