During the development of the Mosler MT900, the developer and founder Warren Moser said: “Powersteering is exaggerated”. From that principle he started developing the MT900, a lightweight street legal monster of which only 20 copies are built.

The MT900S is a street version of the MT900 racing car. The car was very successful as a GT racer and was further developed as a street legal monster for the homologation of the racing car that participated in the 2007 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 5.7 liter V8 from Corvette produces 550 hp. The power isn't that much but it's the low weight that make this Mosler so bloody fast, even nowadays. The weight of the Mosler is only 1.112 kilograms. Modern hypercars like the McLaren P1 and the LaFerrari weigh 1.255 and 1.345 kilograms for example. This makes it possible to sprint to 100 kph in three seconds and eventually reach a top speed of 305 kph. The top speed isn't that high because this car is aiming for the track. Despite the fact that this car is almost ten years old, the car still looks really modern. The enormous low body and the aerodynamic bodywork make this a really lovely supercar.
