Last week, we found some surprises at the Nordschleife. The first surprise was a Koenigsegg Agera R and the second was a One:1. We still don't know why the Swedish hypercars were testing at the Nürburgring.
We can think of three reasons. First reason are a few safety problems with the American version of the Koenigsegg but that should be fixed at the factory in Sweden. Much more interesting is the reason that a few competitors of the Koenigsegg tried to break the lap record. The McLaren P1, LaFerrari and even Nissan with the GT-R Nismo wants to set a fast time but this would only need one car instead of two. The third reason is a new version. Slowly the autumn is starting and Koenigsegg needs to do their last test before the weather is getting bad if they want to show something special at the Geneva Motor Show. Koenigsegg won't say anything about these tests the onlly thing we see is a thumbs up by the testing driver when he was spotted by Neuss-Düsseldorfer Endbosse!
