Last month (Dutch article) the awesome Pagani Zonda R (Dutch article) was shown to the public in Italy, land of the super-cars. This € 1,460,000.- expensive race-car is a car that will mostly be used by their owners as a trackday car. Today Pagani showed us new pictures of this creation.
This is probably the last Zonda with a V12 engine. After this Pagani will switch to lighter and more efficient engines, less power isn't likely to happen. This Zonda R is the craziest of all of the Zondas that we have seen in recent years. It is a raw, brutal, race-exotic that will leave everyone in its dust. You need quite some guts to drive full speed with a car that has so much power and is so expensive! It has 750 bhp and only weighs 1,070 kilograms, this brings it to a specific 1.43 kg/bhp. You can adjust the car however you want it, do you want to drive faster than 350 km/h, that is possible. Also a very fast cornering speed is possible, this is thanks to the 1,500 kilogram down-force that can be created by aerodynamics!
