Ferrari F430 Spider
We start with number ten, the Ferrari F430 Spider. Despite the fact that this car isn’t produced anymore, it’s still very popular amongst spotters. 766 spots of this car were uploaded in 2012.
Aston Martin V8 Vantage
The following popular car is the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. With 780 spots, this car is listed on number nine. The car was called baby-Aston when it was just introduced but it definitely isn’t a baby! The Vantage V8 is the English competitor of the more popular Porsche 911. For those who can live with less performance but more style there’s the V8 Vantage!
BMW M5 F10
The BMW M5 F10 was introduced in the summer of 2011. We are one and a half year further and we can definitely say that this car is very popular. Not only amongst spotters but also amongst owners. Will we see more than 789 spots of this car, next year? Or will the Audi RS6 Avant C7 or the Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG W212 2013 be spotted more often?
Porsche Panamera Turbo
We can see that the lower listings in the top ten are close to each other. 807 spots of the Porsche Panamera Turbo were uploaded in 2012. That are eighteen spots more than the BMW M5 F10. We can expect a facelift of the Panamera Turbo next year, so we won’t see the ‘old version’ in this list again, next year.
Bentley Continental GT
Well, the Bentley Continental GT.... The Volkswagen Golf for the rich people. In Monaco you see a Continental GT on almost every corner. But also in other countries, a lot of Bentleys are spotted. In 2012, 835 spots of this car were uploaded.
BMW M3 E92 Coupe
The second model of BMW is the M3 E92 Coupe, this car is listed as number five. The car has just less than 1000 spots, 979 to be exact. An enormous amount for a very nice and exciting car. The M3 E92 Coupe is perfect for daily use but this car will never bore you.
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
The SLS AMG of Mercedes-Benz is the first car with more than 1000 spots on Autogespot in 2012, 1058 spots to be exact. This means that almost three copies were spotted every day. We even made an All colours of the rainbow special of this car. The perfect way to choose the best colour for this car!
Audi R8
Finally, the last German car from this 2012-special. Audi’s very successful spots car. The car looks very good, is very fast and offers a lot of comfort. Audi also offers the car with a more powerful V10 engine but this car is less popular than the V8 version. 1321 spots of this car were uploaded in 2012.
Ferrari California
The Ferrari California is the second Italian in the list. Despite the divided opinions on Autogespot, this car is spotted very often. Whether you see this car in Monaco or in London, this car is always uploaded. In 2012, this car was uploaded 1347 times. With ‘only’ 460 bhp it is the least powerful Ferrari for sale. The more powerful 458 Italia seems to be more popular on Autogespot.
Ferrari 458 Italia
The Ferrari 458 Italia is the number one of 2012. The car was uploaded 1364 times on Autogespot. Ferrari is always talking about exclusivity but is the 458 Italia still exclusive? The 458 Italia is spotted very often this year and probably the car will be even more popular next year. We don’t regret it, the Ferrari 458 Italia is a really beautiful car!
