A beautiful Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Zagato shows up in Cannes

A stunning Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Zagato recently cruised through the streets of Cannes. Not only is the car itself a sight to behold, but its color is also a real attention-grabber.

Aston Martin and Zagato have been collaborating for over 60 years, consistently bringing a joint car to the market from time to time. What they always share are beautiful design and extreme exclusivity. The latest model to emerge from these two brands is the DBS GT Zagato, limited to just 19 units, paying homage to Aston Martin's legendary DB4 GT Zagato, the very first Zagato by Aston Martin.

Aston Martin has rarely released open-top Zagato models. Earlier Aston Martin Zagato convertibles included the distinctive V8 Vantage Volante, which was first showcased in Geneva in 1987, and the DB AR1 in 2003. The DB AR1 was developed as an open-top DB7 with a Zagato body and was also limited to 99 units. It is available on the North American market and is now considered a coveted collector's item among car enthusiasts worldwide.

The Vanquish Zagato came in four versions: a Shooting Brake, a regular Coupe, a Speedster, and this Volante. All four cars featured an upgraded version of Aston Martin's iconic V12 powertrain, boosting its output to 592 horsepower and achieving 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.7 seconds.

This exquisite example was last seen in Stuttgart five years ago and has now reappeared in the south of France.
