A colorful combo of two GT4RS shows up in the depths of Zuffenhausen

A colorful combo presents itself in Zuffenhausen, consisting of two brand-new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Weissach Packages. However, it might not be a coincidence to come across such combos in Zuffenhausen, as everyone knows that both Porsches were born in this city.

The GT4 RS is a relatively new creation by Porsche and is meant to be the enhanced version of the already very cool GT4. When 500 PS (368 kW) from a high-revving mid-mounted engine meets a purist 1,415 kg kerb weight, it's time to redefine the term "driving pleasure": the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the new flagship model in the 718 family – an uncompromising driver's car designed to impress with its lightweight construction, extremely agile chassis setup, sophisticated aerodynamics, and unique soundtrack. Whether driven on narrow, winding mountain roads or closed race tracks, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS rules the compact mid-engined range. On the Nürburgring Nordschleife, it outperforms its sibling, the 718 Cayman GT4, by over 23 seconds.

The naturally aspirated flat-six engine, known from the 911 GT3 Cup racing car and the 911 GT3 series production model, serves as the centerpiece of a sports car designed for maximum driving pleasure. The engine revs as high as 9,000 rpm. Compared to the 718 Cayman GT4, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS boasts an additional 80 PS (59 kW), resulting in a weight-to-power ratio of 2.83 kg/PS. Maximum torque has been increased from 430 to 450 Nm. Among the eye-catching features of the new top-of-the-range 718 are the process air intakes behind the driver and passenger windows. Normally, the 718 Cayman has small side windows in this area. The new air intakes improve the intake airflow and, at the same time, create an exciting intake noise right next to the occupants' ears. The characteristic air intakes in front of the rear wheels have been retained and are used for engine cooling.
This combo, where both come from the PTS program, is located in a familiar underground garage in Zuffenhausen. Which one would you choose? For me, the Ruby Star Red one would be just right.
