More images of this masterpiece have emerged from the Netherlands, showcasing an ultra-modern car that still exudes the charm of a classic from the 2000s.
Two decades after Koenigsegg introduced its first production car, the CC8S, to the world, an entirely new category of "Megacars" is being defined. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the CC8S, the Koenigsegg CC850 was unveiled at the 2022 edition of "The Quail" motorsport gathering, in front of an audience comprising media, customers, and industry magnates.
The CC850 represents a contemporary reinterpretation of the Koenigsegg CC8S, paying a dual tribute: to the Koenigsegg brand itself and to two decades of remarkable vehicle production, as well as commemorating the 50th birthday of the company's founder and namesake, Christian von Koenigsegg. As a result, the production of the CC850 will be limited to just 50 vehicles worldwide.
