How do you keep the attention of the media? By launching new models or special editions. Audi is doing just that by launching the Plus models of the Audi R8 V10 Spyder. The Plus model is already available for the Coupe, but now you can enjoy the extra 70 HP with the top down. 0-60 in 3.3 seconds is not bad for a convertible!
The Plus series will house a 5.2-liter V-10 engine that produces 610 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. That is impressive and it is the fastest Spyder/Convertible from Audi on the market today. The new micrommata green paint job is a new color for the R8 series, and the optional design package has an anthracite gray single frame grille and black tailpipe covers. The interior is in all black Nappa leather with green stitching accents on the seats, center armrests, doors, and floor mats. I'm not so sure if I like the Audi in that color, but it definitely looks good in the press photos.
