We all love PTS. It makes the Porsche experience more colorful and exclusive. Here we see a magnificent example of what is possible with the wonderful PTS program.
This Porsche is a limited 992 Sport Classic. As if that wasn’t exclusive enough, the owner opted for customization through PTS (Paint to Sample). With this special request program from Porsche, no wishes are left unfulfilled. Whatever the buyer desires is made a reality.
The owner decided to order their Sport Classic with as much painted detail as possible. For example, parts that are typically left unpainted were also given a coat of paint. Even the wheels, which are usually finished in silver, black, or, at best, gold, were painted in the car's body color. While this might not suit many cars, for a Porsche, it’s not only stunning but nearly iconic. This is because earlier models were often ordered with body-colored wheels, making this choice for the Sport Classic an exquisite homage to tradition.
The most striking feature of this special request lies in the paint itself. This particular model is finished in none other than the very rare and equally expensive Golf Blue (not to be confused with the much lighter Gulf Blue).
We can only applaud the owner and hope there will be more fantastic customers like this who choose to personalize their Porsche in such a beautiful way.
