When someone decides to acquire a pickup truck, there's usually a good reason, perhaps a need for cargo space or simply a fondness for large vehicles. Most of these trucks, however, tend to prioritize functionality over comfort. Not this one! Here, a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow was actually taken and converted into a pickup truck.

There were some Rolls-Royce pickups that were converted into pickups between 1965 and 1990. At that time, it was really just for fun. Back then, you would pay about £40,000 for such a pickup. Nowadays, these are probably priceless because only about five of them were converted into pickups.

The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow was introduced in 1965 as the successor to the Silver Cloud and was the first model of the brand to have a unitary body structure. It was powered by a 6.75-liter V8 engine that provided sufficient power for this heavy vehicle. This engine was continuously developed throughout its production period.

This particular specimen has already been seen a few times in Munich, but this is the very first time it has been spotted on the road.
