A rare trio shows up in Toledo

As if Porsches modified by Rauh-Welt Begriff weren't already rare enough, mfg1990 managed to capture images of three different ones. What a breathtaking sight.

The Japanese brand Rauh-Welt Begriff gained fame for its modifications to 993 models. They have since expanded their repertoire to include other models such as the 964 and even the 997. Of course, the 993 remains the most popular, as evidenced by these three examples we're seeing here. Naturally, this level of customization comes at a price. Buyers are willing to pay twice the cost of a standard 993 for one that has been transformed by Rauh-Welt Begriff.

The origin of all RWBs can be traced back to the legendary 993 GT, which came from the factory with riveted fender flares. Japanese tuner Akira Nakai was enamored with this style and began converting ordinary 993s. He transformed the front and rear bumpers in a rugged yet ergonomic manner, drawing inspiration from the highly renowned and successful 993 GT2 EVO produced from 1995 to 1999. The large air intakes on the front bumper and the distinctive spoiler at the rear - all reminiscent of this extreme Porsche.

This example photographed in Toledo is particularly eye-catching due to its breathtaking color. It closely resembles Violapurple. What a spectacle for the eyes.
