A rarity in the United States: Porsche 997 GT2 RS

The city of Greenwich in the state of Connecticut is a chic suburb of New York where a lot of rich people live. It’s one of the better cities in the United States. The beautiful city is the ideal place to spot a rarity in the United States, the Porsche 997 GT2 RS.

Porsche has built only 500 copies of the ultimate GT2. It is, together with the 997 GT3 RS, the most pure Porsche from this period. It doesn’t have a automatic gearbox but an ‘old-fashioned’ manual gearbox which makes it a real men car. This copy is number 489 out of 500. This car from Zuffenhausen produces 620 hp and this power is transferred to the rear wheels. Porsche offers this car in three different colours and the copy below is painted in the colour Guards Red.

This is the fourthy copy that is ever spotted in the United States. If we have to believe the records, there should be 205 copies of the GT2 RS in the United States. This means that the American spotters still have some work to do!
