A strange Italian creation

A strange thing. This Italian creation is rarely seen. Coincidentally, two were spotted this month!

Two examples were posted on Autogespot this month, one in Estonia and the other in the United States. Although they are the same model, there is a clear visual difference. For instance, the one in Pärnu is equipped with an extra set of headlights to enhance the rally feeling. If you look at the one in Chicago, it might seem relatively "boring" due to the lack of these headlights. But what exactly is this Kimera Automobili Evo 37? Essentially, an old Lancia is transformed into the Evo 37. The fun part about the Evo 37 is that the manufacturer even gives the cars names internally. Not fewer than 36 examples of the Evo 37 will be produced. Enthusiasts will immediately recognize the look. It’s inspired by the Lancia 037. However, instead of using an original 037 as the base, they started with the slightly less rare Beta Montecarlo. There’s really nothing to complain about with this conversion, especially when it comes to performance. This modern version delivers 550 hp between 7,000 and 7,250 rpm, with a weight of 1,100 kilos. The maximum torque? 550 Nm. All of this is generated by a four-cylinder engine with both a supercharger and a turbo!
