The Alfa Romeo RZ was produced in an extremely limited quantity, with only 278 units ever made, making it an exceedingly rare vehicle. Consequently, we've seen very few of them in the past on this page.
The RZ was designed by Zagato and is known for its striking and unmistakable design. It features a distinctive wedge-shaped body with bold lines and characteristic headlights. The Alfa Romeo RZ is based on the Alfa Romeo SZ (Sprint Zagato), previously designed by Zagato. Both vehicles share many technical components and design features.
The RZ is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine, delivering around 210 horsepower, providing solid performance for a sports car of its era. It has a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive configuration, ensuring balanced handling.
Production of the Alfa Romeo RZ began in 1992 and ended in 1993, during which only 278 units were manufactured. Moreover, it could be ordered in just four colors: red, yellow, black, and silver, with only four units produced in silver. Due to its rarity and unique design, the Alfa Romeo RZ is a coveted collector's item and can command high prices in the classic car market. Currently, RZ models are being sold for around $200,000.
The RZ was designed as a sports car and offers impressive performance. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 7 seconds, with a top speed of about 220 km/h.
By the way, this yellow specimen was spotted in Rozendaal, Netherlands, a small district near Arnhem. Not too long ago, another very cool yellow car was seen there as well...
