A yellow 918 is finally returning to Wiesbaden

After six years, we can finally welcome back a yellow 918 Spyder that we last saw. Once again, it emerges in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Yellow was among the few standard colors one could choose when ordering the 918. However, hardly any yellow 918s are seen. The reason for this is likely that people who wanted to buy a 918 didn't want such a conspicuous color. It could be uncertain for resale. During the time of the 918, it wasn't common at all to buy such vibrant colors for hypercars. Over time, that has changed significantly. People grew bolder, and we now see more and more colorful cars in this price range. Only a handful of yellow 918s have been uploaded so far. Most often, we see silver and green models, followed by black and white ones. Blue and red examples are similarly rare. As for the PTS (Paint to Sample) examples, we don't even need to talk about those...

By the way, Wiesbaden is a small city right next to Frankfurt on the Main. Known for its historic houses, you can occasionally see a great car here and there. Among the previous highlights from Wiesbaden are the F50, F40, LaFerraris, but also a Zonda that cruised around Wiesbaden.
